T.W. Ellis LLC is family owned and operated by Tim and Barry Ellis. The Company was established in March of 2002. Our goal is establishing ourselves as relevant and respectful residential remodelers and light construction contractors that continually provide quality craftsmanship to all projects. Key Personnel

Tim Ellis, President
Tim is responsible and accountable for estimating, designs, material takeoff, marketing and daily operations of the company. With over 15 years of proven experience in the industry ranging from being hands on lead carpenter, responsible for building the projects, to project management, to designing and estimating the projects. Tim started his career as a union carpenter apprentice. He completed is 4 year apprentice ship with the Baltimore Carpenters union and become a carpenter journeymen. Tim has earned certification of completion from the NAHB for CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler), and CGP (Certified Green Professional). He has a certification from NADRA (North American Deck and Railing Association) in project management and certification of attendance from Simpson Strong Tie on Deck Framing Connection Workshop. He has also completed and received certification from the Building Performance Institute as a BAP (Building Analyst Professional and Envelope Specialist). Tim also has certification of completion from the Inspection Training Associations Fast Track Inspection Home Inspection Course. He is a LEED AP and is a Certified Professional estimator accredited thru the ASPE .Tim is a Maryland License Home Inspector. He has an Associates of Science in Business administration and an Associates of Applied Science in Construction Management. He is also a proud veteran of the Maryland Army National guard. He is currently studying and scheduled to take the CDT and CCCA examine thru the CSI.

Barry Ellis, Vice President
Barry is responsible and accountable for the Project Management for the Company. He has over 10 years proven experience in the industry with 7 years has a Lead Carpenter, 3 of those years for T.W.Ellis LLC and 3 years as the Project Manager for T.W.Ellis LLC. His certifications Include Certification of attendance from Simpson Strong tie on Deck Framing Connection Workshop, certification of Hazwoper Safety Course-29 CFR 1910.120 Standard and Certification from NADR on Project Management. His onsite daily supervision of every project ensures that all of the additions, decks, and screen rooms are being constructed per specifications of the contract and drawings. The onsite visits are valuable to inspect that the projects are being built with superior quality material and craftsmanship of the professional tradesman. All clients have the opportunity, and are encouraged to meet Barry on the first day to establish a line of communication and discuss everyone's role and expectations for the project.

Melissa Bach, Office Manager
Melissa is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general book keeping, human resources, payroll, answering phones and obtaining permits from various municipalities. She has several years experience in small business book keeping as well as several continuing education classes.
