“Our Family Working Together with Yours”
We can all use a little more space, from a family room, to a master suite, or even adding a second story to your home. There are many reasons you may want to add square footage to your home and, as a Design and Build Contractor, T.W. Ellis will help you with the initial planning as well as the construction of your addition. We will discuss what you want and need in your project, your budget and time frame, and make suggestions to keep costs down. Maximizing your enjoyment of your home is our goal!
The most common reason for needing more room is a growing family. As children grow into teens, they require more space. It’s also common for young adults to live with their parents during college. Although it was comforting to have them across the hall when they were little, as they get older you will both want more space and privacy.
On the other end of the spectrum, if you have older family members that need some assistance, it’s often ideal to create a space within your home that’s close, while still allowing a certain amount of separation, like an in-law suite. If you need an accessible design for your addition, we have our Certified Aging in Place Specialists ready to assist you!
Sometimes adding onto your home is not about needs but more of a desire to improve your home, and your enjoyment of it, without the inconvenience of moving. Maybe you would like to expand your kitchen or move it to a different part of the house? Maybe you want a second, third, or even fourth bathroom? Regardless of the type of home addition you need—family room, kitchen, in-law suite, master suite—T.W. Ellis is committed to bringing your dreams to life.
In recent years we have had the honor of receiving MHBA's Home Builder of the Year, NAHB's Remodeler of the Year, and numerous Awards of Excellence within our industry. However, getting your seal of approval on your new home addition or remodeling project is our greatest achievement.
We have built an amazing team, including a certified professional estimator, architect, and engineer. Our in-house designer will produce an attractive floor plan with a 3D rendering that shows how your project will look once completed. We will work together on the design of an addition that encompasses your needs while maintaining the flow and integrity of your home. Our experienced, award-winning, team is dedicated to delivering exceptional home improvements and customer service.
We can solve almost any space issue you may have. When you are ready to expand your home to include a master suite, extra bathroom, or in-law suite, contact us today and we will make your dreams for your home a reality.
The new living quarters on the main level are gorgeous and we constantly receive compliments form neighbors and friends that visit. The lower level in-law suit was a fantastic use of space and extremely functional. Overall, the project came in on budget, a few days early on schedule and exceeded our expectations. T.W. Ellis and the professional staff are a credit to the industry and someone I recommend without a bit of hesitation.
(Mr. & Mrs. Shipley) Award-Winning Addition!
Our sales person helped us envision the remodeling of our home. We were confident that everything we wanted was doable and would be done right. The timeline was met as promised. It was obvious that our satisfaction was their goal. Everyone working on our home was friendly and courteous. We’re glad we selected T.W. Ellis for our home improvement projects.
The craftsmanship is outstanding. I was impressed with the “tightness” of the house and your LEED knowledge and initiatives to build a sustainable energy efficient home. The style and comfort of our new space is enjoyed every day with our family. We hosted Thanksgiving and had 20 people seated at tables in our new room, with a fire going in the background. I cannot begin to express how this added to the richness of the experience of family. We get unsolicited compliments at every opportunity from members of our community about how the house looks like it was always mean to be this house - It does not have the “addition” look. We feel fortunate to have partnered with you and are grateful for the job your team did.
