Tim Ellis, President

Tim is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the company including planning, estimating, designing, and more. He has over 20 years of experience as a remodeler and a number of industry certifications. Tim's experience ranges from union carpenter apprentice to lead carpenter, where he was responsible for much of the building and remodeling. After completing his 4 year apprenticeship with the Baltimore Carpenters union, Tim became a carpenter journeymen.

Tim has an Associates of Science in Business administration and an Associates of Applied Science in Construction Management. He is also a proud veteran of the Maryland Army National guard.

Tim served as the NAHBR Chairman of the Board in 2019

Barry Ellis, Vice President

Barry is accountable for the Project Management for the Company as well as Outdoor Projects. He has over 10 years of proven experience in the industry, from working in the field to project management.

Barry's onsite daily supervision of each project ensures that all of the additions, custom homes, decks, and screened in rooms are being constructed per specifications of the contract and drawings. Onsite visits are valuable to ensure that all projects are being built with superior quality and craftsmanship.

Barry has earned the following certifications:

  • Certification of Hazwoper Safety Course-29 CFR 1910.120 Standard
  • Certification from NADR on Project Management

Carolie Pennington, Office Manager

Carolie is responsible for general bookkeeping, payroll, permit and license renewals, and human resources. Prior to working for T.W. Ellis, she spent 18+ years as Executive Administrator for a local check printing company. As Office Manager, Carolie is an integral member of our team.
