We have a need for tradesmen
I traveled to Washington, DC for the NAHB Spring Board 2015 meetings during June. I took the opportunity while there to meet with our legislators and encourage them to press hard for education that trains people in the construction trades. Currently, the availability of skilled craftspeople is very limited. Over the past several years, course offerings have been cut and enrollments have decreased at technical schools. I hope to see a reinvestment in and a reshaping of our state’s workforce preparation systems.
Reducing Water and Saving Energy, Let’s Work Together
As a part of the NAHB Green Remodeling Committee, we discussed topics such as water use reduction and increased energy savings in residential projects. With a little effort, we can make the most of our resources and use them wisely. Contact us today about how we can work together on your building or remodeling project.
